Hotel Indigo Turks & Caicos Grace Bay is set to open later this month, with Mark Illingworth appointed as Executive General Manager.

Hotel Indigo Turks & Caicos Grace Bay, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is preparing to open later this month. The hotel, developed by Molo Hotel Group and managed by Lighthouse Hotel Management, has appointed Mark Illingworth as Executive General Manager to oversee its operations.

Illingworth brings over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having held various managerial roles, most recently serving as General Manager of Oulton Hall Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort in the United Kingdom. His experience spans resort operations, consultancy, and senior leadership roles within AccorHotels and Bespoke Hotels.

The opening of Hotel Indigo Turks & Caicos Grace Bay marks the first of three new hotels planned for the area by Lighthouse Hotel Management and Molo Hotel Group. The other two properties, Kimpton Grace Turks & Caicos and InterContinental Turks & Caicos, are also part of the development strategy to expand hospitality offerings in the region.

The new hotels will offer a range of amenities, including dining options and leisure facilities, thereby strengthening the Turks and Caicos Islands’ tourism infrastructure. The strategic location along Grace Bay is expected to attract international travelers seeking new accommodation options.
