Marriott International has terminated its licensing agreement with Sonder Holdings, resulting in the removal of Sonder properties from Marriott’s booking platforms.

Marriott International has announced the termination of its licensing agreement with Sonder Holdings. This decision stems from Sonder’s default on the agreement, resulting in the removal of Sonder properties from Marriott Bonvoy and its booking channels.

As a consequence, Sonder properties are no longer available for new bookings through Marriott’s platforms, including its website, mobile app, and reservation centers. Marriott’s focus is on assisting guests currently staying at Sonder properties and those with upcoming reservations.

For guests who booked directly through Marriott’s channels, the company is reaching out to address reservation and booking needs. Those who made bookings through third-party online travel agencies are advised to contact those agencies directly.

Marriott has stated its commitment to minimizing disruptions to guests’ travel plans and is providing customer service support for inquiries related to current or future reservations at Sonder properties booked through Marriott’s channels.
