Marriott International has announced opening a new hotel in Udaipur, marking its first presence in the city. The Udaipur Marriott Hotel is set against the breathtaking Aravalli Hills and overlooks the tranquil Fateh Sagar Lake, reflecting a blend of Rajasthan’s rich heritage and contemporary influences.
Ranju Alex, Area Vice President – South Asia, Marriott International, expressed her delight at introducing Marriott Hotels to Udaipur, a city renowned for its majestic landscapes and deep cultural roots. “As India’s travel landscape evolves, we remain committed to growing our footprint in established and emerging destinations,” Alex said.
Udaipur, often called the “City of Lakes,” is known for its stunning palaces, serene lakes, and rich cultural heritage. The Udaipur Marriott Hotel is conveniently located 35 minutes away from Maharana Pratap Airport and 20 minutes from Udaipur City Railway Station, offering seamless connectivity for travelers.
Rajasthan’s royal heritage inspires the 226 guest rooms and suites, each equipped with plush bedding, high-speed Wi-Fi, well-appointed workspaces, and spa-inspired bathrooms.
The hotel offers several curated culinary experiences in terms of dining. Okra, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, combines local and global flavors. The Greatroom, a signature feature of Marriott Hotels, offers an inviting space for guests to relax, connect, and conduct business meetings.
