The only thing McDonald’s fans love more than their go-to order is a McDonald’s throwback. Let’s not forget the absolutely wild reaction to that Grimace birthday meal a couple of years back. People love the characters and the restaurant nostalgia just as much as the comfort of the food.
So naturally with the return of McDonaldland, which was first introduced way back in 1971, fast-food fans are quite literally clamoring for the associated merch. And there’s just one store that has the collection, and it actually makes total sense.

Prices for the McDonaldland collection range from $12 for a claw clip to $250 for the Grimace rug (which is already sold out).
Which brings me to this urgent message: these items are selling out fast, like really fast. The collection launched on Aug. 12 and a lot of items are already sold out, including the men’s Food Buddies t-shirt and the blue McDonaldland hoodie.

Will there be more items added to the McDonaldland PacSun collab?
Yes! There are a few items listed in the collection that still say “coming soon.” These include a Burger Buddies Rug, Follow Me to McDonaldland license plate holder, Grimace license plate holder and McDonaldland To-Go Tote Bag. Honestly, that To-Go Tote Bag is not a want but a need in my humble opinion. I’m obsessed with it.

While fans love the collection, many are disappointed with how quickly everything is selling out.
“Will any of this be restocked or was this an immediate one and done?” asked a Pacsun shopper on Instagram. “Could never find an announcement saying what time the collection was going live and so many sizes were gone first thing in the morning.”
Another person echoed that sentiment.
“It’s pretty frustrating,” they wrote in the comment thread. “I looked for a drop time too and I’m sure there will be plenty of resellers with these listed for triple the price. Got on first thing this morning.”
What is a McDonaldland Meal?
As part of the return of the beloved McDonaldland, McDonald’s is also offering new McDonaldland Meals (and this should go without saying, but clearly these meals are only at McDonald’s). These consist of your choice of either a Quarter Pounder or 10-piece McNuggets, fries, a Mt. McDonaldland Shake and a collectible figurine of Ronald McDonald, Grimace, Mayor McCheese, Hamburgler, Birdie or the Fry Guys. Keep in mind the figurine is a “you get what you get and you don’t get upset” situation.
