Megyn Kelly recently made a bold declaration about Taylor Swift‘s relationship with Blake Lively—and the former Fox News host didn’t mince words with her blunt message.
On April 24, Kelly, 54, and her husband, Douglas Brunt, 53, stepped out for the 2025 Time100 Gala at Lincoln Center in New York City.

At one point on the red carpet, Kelly was asked about Lively being named among Time‘s Most Influential People.
“She’s only here because she’s a celebrity,” Kelly replied, per Variety, adding that Lively’s claims against It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni were “fake Me Too allegations.”
Additionally, Kelly brought up Lively’s old text message calling herself “Khaleesi” from Game of Thrones and Swift her “dragon.”
“Either Taylor Swift is her dragon or she isn’t, I don’t know,” Kelly told Variety.
“That’s what Blake Lively said, so I guess I’ll have to take her at her word,” she added. “So if I were Taylor, I’d speak out about it. But obviously she’s distancing herself.”
Since Lively’s text messages mentioning Swift came to light, the “Shake It Off” songstress has not commented on the topic. The Eras Tour megastar has not publicly spoken about the ongoing Lively-Baldoni legal drama, either.
Swift and Lively have been friends for years. In 2024, the “So High School” singer brought the Gossip Girl actress to Super Bowl LVIII to watch Swift’s boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, help his team defeat the San Francisco 49ers.
Swift also included Lively and Ryan Reynolds‘ daughter James’ voice at the beginning of her song “Gorgeous.” Additionally, Swift used all three of their daughters’ names—James, Inez and Betty— in her song “Betty.”
