Meliá Hotels International has opened the ME Marbella in Andalusia, featuring 200 rooms and three dining venues, following a €20 million renovation.
Meliá Hotels International has announced the opening of ME Marbella, a hotel located between Puerto Banús and Marbella’s Old Town on the Costa del Sol. The hotel, which marks the Andalusian debut of the ME by Meliá brand, has undergone a €20 million renovation.
The property features 200 rooms, including 24 suites, with views of the Mediterranean Sea, the Sierra Blanca mountains, or the hotel’s gardens. The hotel offers a range of experiences, including music sessions, cultural events, wellness activities, and art installations.
ME Marbella includes three new dining venues. La Terraza Del Med offers Mediterranean dishes using locally sourced ingredients. Solana provides a setting where fresh ingredients are prepared over an open flame. Barlume combines cocktails with Mediterranean cuisine.
The hotel also features the Oasis beach club, which includes an indoor beach area. The club is designed to serve as a social hub for guests.
The renovation and opening of ME Marbella are part of Meliá Hotels International’s strategy to expand its presence in key luxury destinations
The hotel offers a range of activities, including visits to local art studios, beauty treatments, and private tours. Guests can also participate in wine tastings and explore the Costa del Sol by electric boat.
