Meliá La Palma, a newly refurbished hotel, commenced operations on November 1, revitalizing tourism on the volcanic island after the 2021 eruption. Previously known as Sol La Palma, the hotel is now part of the Meliá Hotels & Resorts portfolio and offers an exclusive service known as “The Level.”

Nestled among lush banana trees in Puerto Naos and offering stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, Meliá La Palma provides a distinctive experience for its guests. The hotel is an ideal base for exploring the volcanic landscapes, black sandy beaches, and skies of La Palma, an official Biosphere Reserve. The hotel and its affiliated apartment building offer 500 accommodation units.

One of the hotel’s key features is its infinity pool, which visually merges with the ocean, creating a serene environment for guests. The hotel also houses an astronomical observatory where guests can enjoy the renowned star-gazing experience on La Palma. The rooms and suites are designed for comfort and elegance, ensuring complete relaxation during the guests’ stay.

The culinary offerings at Meliá La Palma have been upgraded to provide a superior gastronomical experience. The hotel’s main restaurant, Mosaico, combines international and local flavors, while Cape Nao offers Mediterranean cuisine with sea views. La Taquería La Hacienda provides an authentic Mexican experience, and the Lobby Bar Boreal offers a wide array of drinks and cocktails.

Meliá La Palma also provides extensive facilities for events, including meeting rooms, conference rooms, and an auditorium that can accommodate up to 500 people. In partnership with local artist Erika Castilla, the hotel has launched a collection of exclusive illustrations that reflect the essence of the island, available on limited-edition products for guests.

The Level, an exclusive service offered by the hotel, provides premium rooms with panoramic sea views, personalized services, and access to private areas. It caters to guests seeking a high level of privacy and comfort.

The hotel is owned by ATOM and managed by Meliá Hotels International. The transformation into Meliá La Palma involved an investment of nearly 4 million euros.
