Miley Cyrus arrived at the Golden Globes on Jan. 5 with her second Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song, and while she didn’t win the award, fans argued that she won the red carpet with her stunning look.
The singer posted some photos of the glamorous ensemble on social media on Jan. 6, showcasing the twist on a classic black gown. Cyrus wore a black floor-length dress with a low back, with the main feature a series of cutouts forming an “x” across the front.

Along with the cutouts, the dress also had sparkling embellishments lining the cutouts and straps, showcasing the unique design. Cyrus brought the look together with an edgy updo and smoky eye makeup.
Fans loved the red carpet look, with enthusiastic comments like, “Here you dropped this: 👑,” and “your look won the entire night lets be honest. ITS JUST A LITTLE TOO GOOD 🔥”
Even the Spotify official account couldn’t help but comment, writing, “not you outdoing yourself AGAIN.”
Others called Cyrus a “genuine rockstar” and “The coolest ever,” while a third declared, “She’s an icon, she’s a legend, and she IS the moment.”

Cyrus was nominated for her song “Beautiful That Way” from the film The Last Showgirl, starring Pamela Anderson and directed by Gia Coppola. Anderson also received a nomination in the Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama category.
The “Flowers” singer-songwriter was previously nominated in 2009 for Best Original Song for the track “I Thought I Lost You” from the animated film Bolt.
