Millennium Hotels and Resorts will rebrand its Millennium Downtown New York property to M Social Hotel New York Downtown this summer.

Millennium Hotels and Resorts has announced the rebranding of its Millennium Downtown New York hotel, which will soon operate under the name M Social Hotel New York Downtown. The transition is scheduled to be completed this summer. This change follows the opening of M Social Hotel New York Times Square, marking a significant expansion of the M Social brand within Manhattan’s Financial District.

The M Social Hotel New York Downtown is centrally located in Manhattan, providing easy access to major landmarks such as The Oculus, One World Trade Center, Brooklyn Bridge, and the Hudson River. The hotel will feature 569 renovated rooms, including 98 suites. The rooms’ design aims to reflect the district’s historic heritage and contemporary style, with features like a custom mural of Wall Street’s Charging Bull.

For business travelers, the hotel will offer advanced workspaces and panoramic views of downtown Manhattan. Additionally, the property will include 3,550 square feet of event space, equipped with modern technology such as 98-inch 4K screens and wireless casting capabilities. This space is designed to accommodate corporate meetings and social events, with a capacity of up to 160 guests.

The rebranding initiative is part of Millennium Hotels and Resorts’ strategy to enhance its presence in key global markets.

The hotel’s amenities will include sustainable features like intelligent thermostats and eco-friendly bath products from Apotheke. The property will also open its signature restaurant, Beast & Butterflies, by late 2025, offering various dining options.

This rebranding aligns with the recent enhancements to Millennium Hotels and Resorts’ global loyalty program, MyMillennium, which offers members enriched experiences and exclusive perks.
