Millie Bobby Brown has been turning heads while on the press tour for her upcoming sci-fi movie, The Electric State—and her latest public appearance was no exception.
On Tuesday, March 11, the 21-year-old actress was photographed in New York City with her husband, Jake Bongiovi, wearing a sheer black lace dress with a faux-fur neckline and cuffs. Her blond hair was pulled back from her face, and she wore a pair of black satin heels.

During a recent interview with Alex Cooper for the Call Her Daddy podcast, Brown said she has been going for a retro vibe while promoting The Electric State.
“The whole film is based in the ’90s, so I want everything I really wear on this press tour to be ’90s archive,” she explained.
Brown looked to such ’90s icons as Pamela Anderson and Gwyneth Paltrow for inspiration, borrowing a pair of blue bedazzled pants from Anderson for her podcast appearance and a sheer Giorgio Armani dress previously worn by Paltrow for the Madrid premiere of The Electric State. (Paltrow originally wore the gown at the 1998 New York premiere of Shakespeare in Love.)

Brown shared a photo of herself wearing the dress on Instagram, tagging Paltrow.
“You wore it best!💙,” Paltrow raved in the comments.
While visiting Today on Tuesday morning, she opted for a Versace Dalmatian-print skirt suit with a cropped fur jacket, beret and platform Mary Janes, as noted by Page Six.
On her way to The Drew Barrymore Show later on, Brown switched to a monochromatic skirt suit featuring a jacket with feathered collar and cuffs.
The Electric State, which stars Brown alongside Chris Pratt as an orphaned teen trying to track down her brother with the help of a mysterious robot, is currently streaming on Netflix.
