Miranda Lambert sent her fans into the weekend with a stripped-down performance of a song that many quickly declared was among their favorite tracks.

In recent weeks, the country music star has shared acoustic versions of new songs featured on her most recent album, Postcards from Texas. Lambert, 41, released the album’s first single, “Wranglers,” back in May and launched the full album in mid-September.

Lambert’s porch, which she has described as “magic,” was the location of previous acoustic performances that she shared on Instagram in the wake of her latest album’s release. She appeared to be on her porch yet again when she delivered her latest performance of “Wildfire,” another track featured on Postcards from Texas.

In the video, which she posted on Friday, Dec. 13, Lambert rocked an all-denim look and wore her blonde hair down. She held a beautiful acoustic guitar in her lap as she strummed the melody and sang her lyrics, which also popped up in a text overlay on the video as the song progressed.

“This song has a special place in my heart,” Lambert wrote of “Wildfire” in her Instagram caption, adding that the song “feels like it could have been on any record I’ve ever made,” including music released through her group The Pistol Annies or on The Marfa Tapes, her 2021 collaboration with fellow country artists Jack Ingram and Jon Randall.

“The House That Built Me” singer’s fans were quick to voice their approval of the acoustic performance in the post’s comment section, with one identifying “Wildfire” as “One of my faves 😍🔥❤️” as another dubbed it “my favorite song 🔥.”

“This song brings me to tears every time ❤️ here we go Wildfire 🔥🔥🔥,” one Instagram user wrote.

“This song has a special place in my heart as well – it resonates deeply 💖,” another Instagram user agreed.

Others weighed in with their thoughts on the album as a whole, with one writing that they currently “have it on repeat” as another said Postcards from Texas “will forever be my favorite album of yours.. every note & word etched in my soul 🥹.”

Some fans also wrote in to urge Lambert to continue releasing videos of her stripped-down performances. “Love Wildfire 🔥 🎶 Beautiful guitar ❤️ Keep these Porch sessions coming 🙌❤️❤️,” one fan wrote.

“❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️ Yes!! Strong as ever! Keep them coming!! ❤️🔥🔥❤️,” another fan commented.
