Spring has sprung, and so have some incredible opportunities to meet new people. This month, a one-of-a-kind event will bring policymakers, groundbreakers, and industry shakers together in an effort to explore the future of business, technology, and society.

On April 29, the Calgary Mesh Conference, a national innovation event and meetup series, will return for two exciting days of networking, food, and fun, but what can you expect this year?

It’s not chaos, it’s chemistry

Described as a place where “industries collide,” those who attend Mesh in 2025 will be encouraged to build partnerships, create solutions, and challenge assumptions.

“Mesh is about bringing people together across industries,” Chris Hogg, co-producer of the conference, told Curiocity.

“Calgary is in the middle of a major growth story. Venture capital is flowing into the city, the tech scene is accelerating, and investment is reshaping the economy across a range of sectors. Energy remains a dominant force, but many other industries are growing rapidly.”

Whether you’re a founder, corporate leader, policymaker, researcher, creative, or investor, people from all backgrounds are welcome – that is, after all, the point!

This year, the event will unfold over two days at Platform Calgary.

Each ticket will include Breakfast, lunch, and programming, which includes panel discussions,  workshops, and open discussions — but don’t hesitate to secure your spot.

Tickets are on sale now.

“Alberta as a whole is seeing new momentum, fueled by investment, population growth, and diversification,” Hogg continued.

“The province is attracting people, companies, and capital at a rate that is reshaping its future. It is not just about energy anymore. It is about a broader vision of innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership across sectors. That energy is what makes Alberta, and Calgary in particular, the right place for Mesh.”
