Multiple tickets sold in Toronto area win big on Wednesday’s Lotto 6/49 draw

Wednesday’s lottery 6/49 draw was a big hit with multiple tickets sold in the Toronto area.
Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) said tickets sold in Mississauga won the Classic Jackpot worth $5 million.
The Gold Ball Draw sold $1 million worth of tickets on Etobicoke.
Two winning encore tickets worth $100,000 were also sold in Toronto and Bruce County, OLG said.
The format of Lotto 6/49 changed a few months ago, locking the main ‘classic draw’ (where the player chooses a number or a quick pick) at a $5 million jackpot.
