Bariatric surgeon Dr. Younan Nowzaradan—known as Dr. Now on TLC’s My 600-Lb Life—recently made an exciting announcement.
On Wednesday, Feb. 26, the Texas-based physician took to Instagram with a direct message for his fans.

“Hello, how are you all doing? I hope everybody doing well and staying safe,” Dr. Now began his video. “I want to let you know that on Sunday, March 9, I’m having open house to appreciate all the fans in the area.”
He continued, “If you’re in the area, you can come to my office in Houston, Texas, and you can be there between 2 to 5 p.m.”
Dr. Now explained that fans can drop by to snag a signed photo of him, a current copy of his book The Scale Does Not Lie, People Do and other memorabilia.
“But most important, I want to thank you for being a fan, personally,” he concluded. “Hope I will see you in my office…You all take care and stay safe.”

The no-nonsense bariatric surgeon has become a beloved member of the TLC family, with many fans loving his brutally blunt responses to patients not following his treatment plan.
