Coffee mate has a creamer flavor for every season, every mood and almost any craving, which is why shoppers can’t believe what they’ve already spotted in-store.
It’s August, so fans expect to see pumpkin spice, caramel apple, and pecan pie-inspired creamers (though some may argue it’s still too soon). What so many were not prepared for this year, was the earlier rollout of fall-favorite flavors, also translated to an earlier arrival of winter options.
According to a viral social media post shared over the weekend, shoppers have already begun spotting Coffee mate’s new Peppermint Mocha Cold Foam Creamer flavor on shelves at select stores in the U.S.

While fans of the brand are undoubtedly hyped over the new flavor, it appears as though they also might agree that August is too soon to be enjoying the popular winter treat.
“I’ll take ‘What is a seasonal item in 2025? for $300 please.😅,” trusted food blogger Markie_devo joked in an Aug. 3 Instagram post featuring a product image of the new cold foam and another newly spotted winter edition treat: Pillsbury’s new Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough.
“This is insane 😂,” a second agreed. “Spooky season is just now hitting stores.”
Despite feeling a bit rushed through the seasons, the public is interested in the new cold foam flavor, like one who openly admitted, “I would like to try the coffee creamer…Is it good ?🤔.”
“Can these just be made year round then?” another asked in a separate post dated July 23, which included a photo of the new creamer in stock at a grocery store. “I mean if it’s coming out in July, just keep it out year round.”
“Seriously?!?! Its still July,” one more Reddit user noted. “I do want to get those though.”
So far, Coffee mate’s new cold foam has been spotted in the refrigerated section at Walmart and Giant Eagle stores. It’s still a little early–even according to the Coffee mate website, which lists it as a holiday offer that’s not yet available. That said, given that some stores have already begun stocking it, we would expect a wider rollout at most major retailers that already stock the brand in the coming months.
