Dedera previously worked at the Four Seasons Hotel New York for nearly four years before its 2020 closure, and his knowledge of the property and its surrounding community is anticipated to aid in delivering personalized service to staff and guests.

Christopher Shiel, the new Director of Marketing, has nearly two decades of senior sales and marketing experience with global brands like Denihan Hospitality Group, InterContinental Hotels Group, and Hyatt Hotels. Shiel’s previous marketing roles for luxury lifestyle-driven properties in New York City and his experience in digital and traditional marketing strategies make him well-suited for spearheading the hotel’s fall 2024 reopening and contributing to its ongoing growth.

Executive Chef Maria brings almost two decades of culinary expertise from top kitchens across New York and London. Her career highlights include a two-year stint at Jean-Georges in New York City and a six-year tenure at Heddon Street Kitchen in London under Gordon Ramsay. Chef Maria will leverage her culinary pedigree, global perspective and commitment to excellence to maintain the hotel’s status as a premier dining destination in Midtown Manhattan.

Finally, Iwona Luksza, the new Director of Food and Beverage, brings over 15 years of hospitality experience, focusing on the Manhattan market. Luksza has held leadership roles at prestigious establishments such as The Ritz-Carlton, Mandarin Oriental New York, and The Knickerbocker Hotel. She will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s food and beverage operations, including its in-house cocktail bar, TY Bar, and The Garden Restaurant, which offers Italian cuisine.
