Four Seasons Resort Mykonos – Image Credit Four Seasons Hotels
Four Seasons and Blue Iris Investments S.A, an affiliate of AGC Equity Partners, have announced plans for a new luxury beach resort in Mykonos, Greece. The resort is expected to open to guests in the summer of 2025.
The Four Seasons Resort Mykonos will be located along the Kalo Livadi Bay coastline and will feature 94 rooms, villas, and suites with views of the Aegean Sea. The resort will be built on a 60,324-square-meter plot of land stretching from the sandy beaches to the coastal cliffs.
Bart Carnahan, President of Global Business Development, Portfolio Management, and Residential at Four Seasons, expressed excitement over the expansion in Greece, citing the company’s successful partnership with AGC Equity Partners on a hotel project in Athens.
Mykonos, known for its beautiful beaches, cobblestone streets, historical sites, and culinary scene, will be the backdrop for the new resort. Walid Abu-Suud, CEO of AGC Equity Partners, spoke of the company’s confidence in Greece’s growth in high-end tourism, expressing the belief that the new resort will be a popular destination for both local and international tourists.
Ryan Grande, a 14-year Four Seasons veteran, will be the General Manager of the new resort.
The resort’s design will honor the culture and heritage of Mykonos, incorporating Cycladic architecture and sustainable design practices. Greek architect Nicos Valsamakis will oversee the design, with interior styling by Wimberly Interiors. The resort will also feature various dining options, an infinity pool, spa facilities, and recreational activities designed by Rockwell Group.
AGC Equity Partners, the investment company behind the project, manages around USD 6 billion in assets and has a history of investing in a range of real assets, private equity opportunities, and liquid strategies. The Mykonos resort is AGC’s second investment in Greece, following the redevelopment of the Astir Palace Vouliagmeni peninsula, which includes the Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel.
