MGallery Collection has opened a new resort, South Palms Resort & Spa Panglao, on Panglao Island in the Philippines, adding to its portfolio in the region.

MGallery Collection has announced the opening of its latest property, South Palms Resort & Spa Panglao, located on Panglao Island in the Philippines. The resort is situated near the Bohol Sea and is approximately a ten-minute drive from Bohol-Panglao International Airport.

The resort comprises 188 guest rooms and eight beachfront villas. The design of the accommodations incorporates local materials, including bamboo and coconut wood. Each villa is named after a Filipino nature deity, providing a thematic connection to the local culture.

The resort offers several dining options, including Tiya’s House, which features Southeast Asian cuisine, and Manja, serving Mediterranean dishes. UMA provides an open-air dining experience with a focus on seafood and tropical fruits. Additionally, the Sirenna Bar offers cocktails crafted with locally sourced ingredients.

The wellness facilities at the resort include Lola’s Sanctuary, an open-air spa that is set to open in the coming weeks. The resort also offers sunrise yoga sessions and a gym. Guests can participate in cultural experiences, including tours and evening rituals that showcase local traditions.

The resort supports local community initiatives, including partnerships with two orphanages, Bohol Sunshine Home and Trinity Angels Care Home. The resort provides donations and organizes activities for the children residing in these facilities.

Event spaces at the resort include the Acqua Pavilion, which can accommodate up to 50 guests, and the Marcela Ballroom, which can host up to 100 guests. An events lawn is also available for larger gatherings.

The opening of South Palms Resort & Spa Panglao marks an expansion of MGallery Collection’s presence in the Philippines, joining the existing Admiral Hotel Manila.
