Reese’s newest reported flavor is expected to hit store shelves early next year, but, so far, fans aren’t too keen to see it happen.

According to foodie influencer account Snack Betch, the beloved candy company is getting ready to unleash Reese’s Red Velvet on the world, expected sometime in the first quarter (which encompasses January to March) of 2025.

With a smattering of hearts across the packaging, fans say it’s a “definite give away” as to when we can “expect” to see the newest little treat, which is said to feature milk chocolate and peanut butter with a red velvet-flavored creme: Valentine’s Day.

While a few people admitted excitement over the upcoming offering, most comments suggested that there wouldn’t be much fanfare upon its arrival.

“Is this even real???” one asked skeptically, while another declared, “It isn’t broken. Please stop trying to fix it,” and a third admitted, “For the first time this one is a pass.”

“So no cream cheese peanut butter inside?” one commenter queried. “Sounds like they might miss on this one.”

“So just a regular Reese’s dyed red then😂,” someone else said, with another agreeing, “Red velvet is literally just red colored chocolate… this is just normal Reese’s + Red 40.”

M&M’s, on the other hand, had fans brimming with excitement over their new Peanut Butter M&M’s Ice Cream Sandwiches, featuring peanut butter ice cream sandwiched between two sugar cookies chock-full of M&M’s Minis.

M&M’s will also release a seasonal holiday flavor that fans can’t wait to try: Toasty Holiday Peanut M&M’s which “feature cinnamon, vanilla, spiced sugar, and caramel flavors.”
