As if all of the Fortnite and Rocket League content weren’t enough, we’re also getting brand-new animated shorts of The Simpsons
The collaboration between The Simpsons and Fortnite isn’t staying exclusive to the game. Not only are we getting items in Rocket League, but there are four brand-new The Simpsons shorts being released on Disney Plus (but you can also watch them within Fortnite) to mark the occasion.
Per Epic Games, there will be a new short each week, with the first, “Apocalypse D’Oh” releasing today to kick off the collab. For the rest of the month, new shorts will be released on Mondays.
What is the Fortnite x The Simpsons animated short release schedule?
- Short 1: “Apocalypse D’Oh” — Nov. 1
- Short 2: “Sugar High — Nov. 10
- Short 3: “Multiplidiocy” — Nov. 17
- Short 4: “The Incredible Bulk” — Nov. 24
What to expect from the Fortnite x The Simpsons animated shorts
The only description provided thus far is that the shorts will be “highlighting new gameplay.” We can only assume that means each short will highlight a feature or item being added to the game and what they’re used for.
Previously, nine animated The Simpsons shorts have debuted on Disney Plus, tied to events like Star Wars Day, Halloween, and, of course, the streaming service’s birthday.
How to watch the Fortnite x The Simpsons animated shorts
To watch the shorts, you’ll need either a Disney Plus account or a Fortnite account. On Disney Plus, simply search for The Simpsons or head to The Simpsons Collection area of the service. In Fortnite, check the quests screen and look for the Animated Shorts option throughout the season.
The mini-season of Fortnite featuring The Simpsons will run through the end of November. For even more information about what the collab entails, check out our breakdown of the season as a whole, plus deeper dives into the Battle Pass and available skins.
