Nicole Kidman Reveals the Bizarre Secret to Success for Her 18-Year Marriage to Keith Urban

Nicole Kidman believes she has cracked the code for a successful marriage—and apparently it has to do with a bathroom. 

The Oscar-winning actress, who has been married to country music star Keith Urban for 18 years, recently unveiled the secret to the couple’s marital success, and it may not be what you think.

In an interview with W Magazine published on Friday, Jan. 3, Kidman opened up about an intimate part of her marriage to the country crooner, revealing that the spouses have a “double shower” in their home. 

“We have a double shower. The double-headed shower: key to a successful marriage,” the 57-year-old actress stated, before adding that she and Urban, 57, also have separate toilets. 

“Separate commodes and a double-headed shower!” she confessed. 

But even though Kidman and Urban have their own spaces in the bathroom, that doesn’t mean they don’t hear each other singing during their shower sessions. 

After admitting that she personally sings while bathing, Kidman added, “I also hear Keith singing in the shower, and I’ll hear his new songs forming.” 

Kidman first met Urban in 2005, and they tied the knot the following year. They share two daughters together: 16-year-old Sunday Rose Kidman Urban and 14-year-old Faith Margaret Kidman Urban. 

The Babygirl actress also has two adult children from her former marriage to Tom Cruise, during which they adopted daughter Isabella Jane Kidman Cruise, 32, and son Connor Antony Cruise, 29.
