Novotel has recently unveiled its latest addition, Novotel Abidjan Marcory, located in the Marcory district of Côte d’Ivoire. This 17-story structure is designed to cater to the needs of modern families and professionals, offering a blend of work and leisure facilities.

The hotel is situated just 10 minutes away from Féliz Houphouët-Boigny International Airport and close to the Plateau business center. It houses 201 rooms, including 10 suites, designed to balance work and relaxation.

Inspired by the Sundukovy Sisters design studio, the interior design features ‘co-living’ spaces that foster social interaction. Claude Missir’s architectural vision complements this. Joanna Pera Duvocelle has designed the dining areas, enhancing the guest experience with refined culinary spaces.

The hotel is true to Novotel’s philosophy of balanced living, offering spaces that energize professionals and foster family bonding. The “Your Time, Your Way” concept allows guests to customize their experience, providing flexible spaces for work, leisure and amenities for rejuvenation.

Novotel Abidjan Marcory’s culinary offerings include LIVA, a restaurant on the 11th floor that offers contemporary Mediterranean cuisine and panoramic city views. Other facilities include L’Escale, a cigar lounge, a LIVA pool, and a pool bar area for relaxation.

The hotel also boasts a 24-hour fitness center, an outdoor pool, and three adaptable meeting rooms, including the Sirocco room, which can accommodate up to 300 people.

Jérôme Rotrou, General Manager, highlights that the hotel’s opening aims to provide quality accommodation and a balance between work and relaxation for guests in West Africa- Abidjan’s rapidly growing economic hub.

Paul Stevens, Director of Operations for Accor in the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa, mentioned that the opening of this hotel marks an essential milestone for Accor in Sub-Saharan Africa. He emphasized their dedication to community development and skill-building by welcoming over 200 Ivorian talents to their team.

The opening of Novotel Abidjan Marcory comes as Côte d’Ivoire is gaining recognition as a top West African destination. The government’s “Sublime Côte d’Ivoire” program, which aims to increase tourism’s GDP contribution to 10% by 2025, supports this. The new Novotel hotel is expected to play a significant role in this growth.
