Oasis is Definitely (not Maybe) coming to Toronto as part of their upcoming tour

Alright, Oasis fans in Toronto. Our absolute favourite band is Definitely (not Maybe) coming to Toronto as part of their 2025 North American tour. Oasis just announced they will be playing at Rogers Stadium next summer, and you can Stop Crying Your Heart Out about not getting tickets to their UK shows.

Earlier this year, on August 31st to be exact, the 2025 Masterplan of the band was unveiled Half the World Away. Oasis had ended years of speculation and confirmed a run of tour dates for concerts in the UK and Ireland.

At the time, the band was quoted saying, “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

Also then, they had announced that Oasis would be making it to “other continents,” but had yet to make the big announcement.

2025 Tour Announcement

Get ready to see the Rock ‘N Roll Star(s.). After teasing us this weekend by showing images of a billboard in Toronto stating “Be Careful What You Wish For,” they have finally given us what we have been waiting for.

Oasis is embarking on a North American tour with stops in Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Mexico City.

They are kicking things off right here in Toronto at the city’s newest outdoor live venue, Rogers Stadium. They are currently the only band playing the newest concert venue next year.

Capacity for the new venue is 50,547, and there are rumours that the band may announce a second Toronto date due to high demand. Toronto is their only Canadian tour stop in 2025, at this time.

The new dates announced are as follows, with Cage the Elephant listed as the support:

24th August -Toronto, ON – Rogers Stadium
28th August- Chicago, IL – Soldier Field
31st August-East Rutherford, NJ – MetLife Stadium
6th September-Los Angeles, CA – Rose Bowl Stadium
12th September- Mexico City, MX – Estadio GNP Seguros

“We strongly advise that those wishing to purchase tickets register in advance of the sale with Ticketmaster,” states the Oasis website.

How to get tickets for Oasis in Toronto?

According to Ticketmaster, presale kicks off on October 3rd, and general tickets go on sale Friday, October 4th at noon local time.  While it is a new venue, there is a seating map on Ticketmaster’s website.

Pre-sale sign up is now open on their website here.

Once fans sign up for the pre-sale, they will be sent an email with ballot information. Ballots will be set out “no later than midnight local this Wednesday, October 2, with full details and timing for the pre-sale on Thursday, October 3.”

They add that if you don’t receive an email by then, you have not been selected to receive a code. As well, receiving a code “does not guarantee tickets.”

Of note, as per Oasis’ website, “ticket sales are limited to four per household, per show.”
