Omio Reveals The World’s Cheapest Ski Resorts, Canada Reviews

Skiing’s reputation as a bougie pastime hasn’t come from nowhere, but the idea that hitting the slopes is only for trust fund-having toffs is a silly old stereotype, particularly when Europe has so many brilliant and affordable ski resorts. 

And they’re not only in Europe, either. Thanks to research by transport booking platform Omio, which has evaluated the price of adult, youth and child tickets in ski resorts across the world, we now have a pretty good idea about which destinations won’t cost you an arm and a leg. 

Claiming the top spot, with adult tickets costing just €16.91, youth tickets priced at €11.93, and child passes at a measly €6.96, it’s Vasilitsa, located in the middle of Pindos, Greece. But budget-friendly doesn’t equal bad, guys! This resort still boasts stunning vistas and a respectable 530m of vertical descent.

In second and third place are two Japanese resorts: Nukabira Gensenkyo and Akitaken – Tazawako. The list also includes destinations in Iceland, Slovenia, Canada and more – check it out in full below.
