One of Toronto’s best cookie shops is opening a location on Ossington, Canada Reviews

Cookie lovers, rejoice! One of the city’s most sought-after cookie shops is expanding to a new location on one of Toronto’s coolest streets.

High Park’s Andrea’s Cookies, renowned for their gourmet, soft-baked cookies in a variety of flavours, has announced on Instagram that they will be opening a new location on Ossington soon.

“Got a little glow up,” founder and baker Andrea Mears captioned the post.  “We hope you love it and we can’t wait to see you soon, Ossington.” It’s safe to say that Mears has come a long way since her days of baking at home after losing her job during the pandemic.

In addition to being a fantastic new spot on Ossington for delicious cookies, the new location will also have extended hours, staying open until 9 p.m. with even later summer hours next year. Unlike the High Park location, which only offers cookies through a window, the Ossington spot will feature a small indoor space where you can enjoy your treats.

While the Andreas Cookies logo has a fresh look — described by someone on Instagram as “sexy vintage pop culture” — one thing that will remain unchanged is their delicious cookies.

Since their inception in 2022, Andreas Cookies has been delighting customers with six mouthwatering, rotating flavours each week. Not only are these cookies delicious and creative, but they’re also incredibly beautiful. This week’s flavours include classic chocolate chunk and triple chocolate, as well as seasonal favourites like maple walnut and pumpkin spice.

Fans of the brand won’t have to wait long to get their hands on what some consider the best cookies in the city. The new shop, located at 166 Ossington, is set to open in early October.
