A video filmed from high in the stands on Sunday, July 19, shows Bieber casually making his way across the field solo after his performance, acoustic guitar in hand. Rather than disappearing through a hidden tunnel or hopping onto a waiting cart, the singer simply strolled off the pitch like everyone else, leaving social media amused by how unexpectedly ordinary the moment looked.
The video was shared by Instagram user @kar_inthegarage with the caption, “We need to be talking about how Justin Bieber just had to walk off alone with his guitar after the World Cup… Actually pretty badass ngl.” The video was set to the song he performed, “EVERYTHING HALLELUJAH,” and was trimmed perfectly to the lyrics “take a walk hallelujah.”
Many viewers joked that they expected a much more dramatic celebrity exit, while others were quick to point out that there really wasn’t another way for him to leave.

The performance, sandwiched between high-energy sets from BTS andShakira, left many viewers scratching their heads. While some praised Bieber’s vocals and appreciated the unexpected artistic choice, others questioned whether the emotional song was appropriate for one of the world’s biggest sporting events.
The halftime show itself marked a historic first for FIFA.
