Over 10,000 pumpkins will transform this Metro Vancouver park for spooky season

Spooky season is just around the corner, and it won’t be long before some of the most popular Halloween-themed attractions in British Columbia return to Metro Vancouver. This includes the award-winning Pumpkins After Dark experience in Burnaby, which transforms Central Park and Swangard Stadium into a spooky family-friendly event with 10,000 glowing, hand-carved pumpkins to illuminate the night.

From carved jack-o-lanterns to fun new displays, to live pumpkin carving demos (and plenty of photo ops in between), there is plenty to see at this walk-through experience. And as one of the most highly-anticipated fall events in Metro Vancouver – it sets the bar pretty high!

Visitors can walk under the magical pathway, complete with spooky music and special effects.

This year’s Pumpkins After Dark will take place on select dates this October between October 3rd and 29th:

• October 3rd to 6th from 7:15 pm to 11 pm
• October 10th to 13th from 7 pm to 11 pm
• October 17th to 20th from 6:45 pm to 11 pm
• October 24th to 27th from 6:30 pm to 11 pm
• October 29th to 31st from 6:15 pm to 10 pm

Pumpkins After Dark will feature sweet treats and awe-inspiring activities for the whole family to enjoy – with tickets starting at $21.62 for adults and $17.49 for youth on Thursdays (children aged three and under can enter for free).

Tickets go up to $26.78 and $22.65 respectively for weekday admission and $27.81 and $23.68 on weekends.
