Ozzy Osbourne is known for his candor and charming personality, both of which were on full display in the newest episode of his podcast, The Madhouse Chronicles, as he revealed that he isn’t as sober as he used to be.

Osbourne and his co-host, Billy Morrison, who plays guitar with Billy Idol, took on an interesting subject for their latest podcast episode, “Drugs and Sobriety.” During their conversation, they both talked about their past drug use and issues with addiction, leading Osbourne to share his current status.

“Do you feel happier now?” Morrison asked Osbourne, referencing his sobriety. The Black Sabbath singer took a moment to consider his answer before admitting, “Happier, but I’m not completely sober. I use a bit of marijuana from time to time.”

But he confirmed that he doesn’t do other drugs or drink and credited his wife, Sharon Osbourne, with helping him stay on the right path: “I’m lucky. My wife kicked my butt all the time, she would f—ing make life so difficult…Even the marijuana, she’ll f—ing find it and get rid of it.”

The two men went on to declare what the message of the episode was, with Morrison saying, “If you’re out there shooting dope or getting loaded or unhappy with what you’re doing, it’s okay to ask for help.”

Osbourne echoed the sentiment as he concluded, “There’s plenty of help. AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) is a 12-step program that got me sorted out, to a certain degree. I don’t go to meetings myself anymore, but maybe I should.”

Along with The Madhouse Chronicles, Osbourne also has a podcast with his family, including his wife Sharon, his daughter Kelly and his son Jack, called The Osbournes Podcast.
