While Paris Hilton is dealing with the loss of her family’s home in the wildfires that tore through Los Angeles this week, she is also making efforts to support others who suffered losses of their own.
The hotel heiress announced on Friday, Jan. 10, that she is creating an emergency fund through her company, 11:11 Media, in collaboration with a few other organizations “to support displaced families with young children.”

“I’m starting with a personal contribution of $100,000, and will be matching additional dollars raised up to $100,000 more,” the 43-year-old mom of two said in a Friday post on Instagram. “I am looking for others to donate and match alongside me to do our part!”
The emergency fund will provide cash and help fund short-term housing and deliveries of essential supplies. Funding will also go toward supporting animal shelters in the area, Hilton’s post explained.
“Let’s come together for LA,” she wrote. “Every dollar makes a difference, and we’ll make sure the support reaches those who need it most.”
The post’s comment section was full of praise from fans who gushed over the “amazing” gesture.
“Thank you for stepping up and supporting the people of LA and others during this crisis,” one fan wrote.
“You are a truly wonderful human. You are the angel for those who loose [sic] their home,” another fan commented.

“Love your clarity about where donations are going- it’s so helpful!!!” one Instagram user applauded as another wrote, “this is everything and such a good use of a platform and powerful, helping those unfortunate because of this tragedy.”
Hilton revealed earlier this week that she was among the many who lost a home in the Palisades Fire that decimated Los Angeles’ Pacific Palisades neighborhood after igniting on Tuesday, Jan. 7. Her family watched their home “burn to the ground on live TV,” Hilton said in a Wednesday, Jan. 8, post on X, formerly Twitter. She described the surreal moment as “something no one should ever have to experience.”
Hilton addressed the loss of her home in the beginning of her Friday post on Instagram as she said that her “heart is with everyone impacted by the devastating fires here in LA.”
“While I’ve lost my Malibu home, my thoughts are with the countless families who have lost so much more—their homes, cherished keepsakes, the communities they loved, and their sense of stability 🙏,” Hilton wrote.
