Hyatt Hotels Corporation and RLH Properties have opened the Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol, marking the brand’s first hotel in Mexico.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation, in partnership with RLH Properties, has announced the opening of Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol, the first Park Hyatt hotel in Mexico. Located in the Cabo del Sol community in Los Cabos, the resort is set along a coastal stretch known for its scenic views.

The resort features 163 guestrooms and 88 suites, each offering views of the ocean or the resort. Accommodations range from 452 to 1,254 square feet and include private terraces or patios, deep soaking tubs, and walk-in showers. Select rooms include private plunge pools. The property also includes three ocean-view private villas, the largest of which is a three-bedroom villa with over 3,200 square feet of indoor space and a terrace with a private lap pool.

In addition to guest accommodations, the resort offers 11 villas and eight apartments for purchase. These residences are available in four- to six-bedroom configurations and are fully furnished, incorporating local materials and design elements.

The resort’s dining options include Costamar Beach Club, Mesa Madre, and Dátil Coffee Shop. Costamar serves coastal fare with views of the Sea of Cortéz, while Mesa Madre offers Mexican cuisine. Dátil Coffee Shop provides artisanal coffee and baked goods. A signature restaurant, Silán, is expected to open in spring 2026, featuring Levantine cuisine.

The wellness facilities include a 59,000-square-foot fitness and wellness center, one of the largest in the region. The center features a yoga studio, a beachside lap pool, and a 24-hour fitness facility. Araya Spa, expected to open in early 2026, will offer personalized treatments and a salon.

For events, the resort provides 34,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space. This includes the Nopal Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 200 guests, as well as several smaller meeting rooms. Outdoor venues include the Terraza del Mar and Costamar Events Lawn.

Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol is part of a broader expansion of the Park Hyatt brand in Mexico, with additional locations planned for Mexico City and Cancun in 2026.
