Park Hyatt Tokyo has announced it will reopen on December 9, 2025, after a major renovation project. The hotel, located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, will begin accepting reservations for rooms, restaurants, events, and spa services on September 24, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. Japan time. The property is located on the 39th to 52nd floors of the Shinjuku Park Tower.

The renovation, which started in May 2024, includes updates to guestrooms, suites, public spaces, event venues, and dining areas. The number of rooms and suites has been reduced from 177 to 171, with the introduction of a new suite category. The project was led by Parisian Studio Jouin Manku, which focused on maintaining the original design elements while introducing new furnishings and materials.

The hotel will feature several dining options, including Girandole by Alain Ducasse, The Peak Lounge & Bar, and the New York Grill & Bar. The Girandole restaurant will offer a modern interpretation of classic Parisian and brasserie dishes, with a focus on healthy cooking techniques. The Peak Lounge & Bar will continue to offer a retreat with stunning views of Tokyo, serving afternoon tea and cocktails.

Guestrooms and suites have been redesigned to enhance connectivity and promote an open atmosphere. Bathrooms now feature a blend of mineral and organic materials, inspired by traditional Japanese wet rooms. Amenities include Italian linens, Nespresso coffee machines, and Bose soundbars in suites. The new Park Suite category offers living and sleeping areas, dining tables, and views of Harajuku, Shibuya, Meiji Shrine, and Yoyogi Park.

The hotel’s fitness center and spa, Club On The Park, will also be restored to its original design. The Library, featuring over 2,000 books, will be part of the restored public spaces.

Reservations for the Park Hyatt Tokyo can be made starting September 24, 2025.
