Pendry Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Pendry Natirar, a resort located on a 500-acre estate in Somerset County, New Jersey. Located 45 minutes from Manhattan, the resort centers around a restored 1912 Tudor-style mansion with 66 adjacent guestrooms, including 20 suites.

The resort offers various luxury amenities such as a farm-to-table restaurant and cooking school called Ninety Acres, a fitness center, a spa, and 13,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space. Pendry Natirar also features 24 residences, offering both estate and farm villa residences.

The design of Pendry Natirar, led by CosciaMoos Architecture and DesignAgency, aims to draw inspiration from the traditions and styles of old-world England’s grand country manor homes, reinterpreted with a modern sensibility. The designers preserved and restored the mansion’s original features, such as the limestone foyer, stone fireplaces, ornate plaster ceilings, warm wood paneling, and oak flooring.

Pendry Natirar also offers a variety of culinary offerings, including a fine-dining restaurant called Ninety Acres, a tavern, and a cooking school where guests can learn from local chefs. The resort also has a working farm that provides fresh produce for the restaurants, a spa, a sports center, and a children’s program.
