Perth Hotel Industry Sees Record June Performance

Perth’s hotel industry recorded its highest June average daily rate (ADR) and revenue per available room (RevPAR) on record, as per preliminary data from CoStar. The data indicates significant increases in key performance metrics compared to the previous year.

In June 2025, Perth’s hotel occupancy reached 77.7%, marking an 8.6% increase year-over-year. The ADR increased by 11.8% to AUD232.56, while RevPAR rose by 21.4% to AUD180.64. This performance represents the highest occupancy for a June since 2015.

The State of Origin Game II, held at Perth’s Optus Stadium on 18 July, contributed to the peak performance. On that day, occupancy was 93.6%, ADR was AUD318.02, and RevPAR reached AUD297.63.

Additionally, Perth hosted two concerts by Katy Perry as part of “The Lifetimes Tour” at the RAC Arena. On 23 June, hotel occupancy was 81%, with an ADR of AUD226.79 and RevPAR of AUD183.59.

Overall, Perth’s hotel occupancy remained above 70% for most of the month, with only four days falling below this threshold.
