Pete Davidson and his girlfriend Elsie Hewitt are proud parents-to-be!

The couple stepped out together on Sunday (July 27) at the premiere of Davidson’s new film, The Pickup, in Los Angeles. It marked their first public appearance since announcing that they’re expecting their first child earlier this month. While on the red carpet, Hewitt posed to show off her small baby bump.

Davidson and Hewitt previously shared the happy pregnancy news in a social media post, which included a series of photos of the couple relaxing at home — and a video of them at an ultrasound appointment.

“Welp now everyone knows we had sex,” Hewitt captioned the post.

“I mean, it’s the most exciting thing ever. I don’t even really have words,” he shared with Extra on the carpet. “I’m just so excited about it, and I can’t I just can’t wait for it.

Davidson added that he felt like he was “finally in a place where I’m ready” to become a father.

“I’m not a parent yet, but I feel like I’m the best I could be now, you know? I’m glad it’s happening now, for sure,” Davidson shared.

As for how Hewitt is doing right now, Davidson said she was handling pregnancy well and smiling through it all.

“She’s good. She’s a trouper. She’s a strong woman,” he shared with Extra. “You know, she has endo[metriosis], so she’s, you know, no stranger to pain. But she’s smilin’ all the time, keeping me smilin’. So, we’re good.”
