Philadelphia shooting: 7 wounded, including 2 year old, in attack near school – National

Seven people, including five teenage girls and a two-year-old girl, were injured in a shooting Thursday night near a school in Philadelphia, police said.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that a shooting occurred shortly before 6 p.m. in the city’s Strawberry Mansion district.
The 2-year-old was listed in stable condition at the hospital. She was hit on her thigh. Five teenage boys were also hospitalized with injuries. Fifteen were in critical condition and the rest were in stable condition.
Police said the seventh victim was a 31-year-old woman. Her physical condition was also stable.
A motive was not immediately known and no arrests were made.
Philadelphia School Board President Reginald Streeter said the shooting occurred near an elementary school.
