Pink fans were left feeling like they were interrupting something when an intimate concert clip featuring her husband Carey Hart resurfaced earlier this week.
In honor of its 15th anniversary, a fan page reposted a snippet of a concert from the “Funhouse” singer’s tour of the same name that took place in Hannover, Germany, on Dec. 20, 2009, showing the pro motocross competitor secretly filling in for one of the performer’s dancers on stage during the final stop of the tour.
In the video, Hart stood with his back to his wife with the hood of a red sweatshirt pulled up over his head. She approached as she sang “So What,” her mouth dropping in shock and her voice cutting out as she yanked down the hood and realized it wasn’t the man she expected to be standing there.
After a kiss and a chance to collect herself, she shoved him down to the prop bed on stage, where other dancers centered him in a massive, feather-flying pillow fight before stripping him of his top and eventually tying his arms and legs down before Pink climbed over the headboard and straddled him while finishing the song.
While fans were delighted by the silly prank and the sweet display of affection between the couple on stage.
One admitted, “I feel like I shouldn’t bee [sic] watching toward the end,” before going on to call them “the cutest couple.”
Others praised Hart for “being a good sport,” as the song in question was written about their brief breakup. In fact, they’d just called off their divorce months before this performance.
“I don’t think my husband would agree to do it🤣,” one added.
Today, the two remain happily married and share a 13-year-old daughter, Willow Sage Hart, and a son, Jameson Moon Hart, 8.
