Ree Drummond, the star of the popular lifestyle show The Pioneer Woman, is about to become a grandmother, and her expecting daughter just revealed the official name of her soon-to-be-born little girl.
Alex Drummond Scott shared the big news on social media soon after her baby shower celebrating with friends and families, writing alongside new photos from the event, “Yesterday was everything I could ever dream of celebrating our Sofia Marie.”

“🥹💕 Praise the Lord for these wonderful women and so many more!,” she concluded. The accompanying photos showcased sweet moments between Alex and her loved ones, including her mother and younger sister Paige. There were also a few photos of Alex with her husband, Mauricio Scott, whom she married in May 2021.
The theme of the party seemed to be pink and floral, with Alex looking beautiful in a stunning pink and white patterned dress. She posed in front of a white backdrop adorned with flowers as pink and white balloons decorated the space nearby.
Alex and her husband’s dog George also made an appearance in the photos, while the last image showed off a sweet chest likely gifted to Alex with her daughter’s initials on the inside.

Alex’s husband also shared the love, writing to his wife, “Can’t wait to raise our little baby Sofia together!! ❤️😭🥹.”
Drummond revealed more about the gathering on her blog, writing of the experience, “I teared up a few times, I ate my weight in finger sandwiches, and there was a surprise drop-in from George and Mauricio.” The baby shower was in Dallas, Texas, held at one of their friends’ parents’ house.
