Fans were surprised when Jon Pardi and his wife, Summer, went their separate ways after years of marriage. Now, Summer is breaking her silence and opening up about the divorce that brought an unexpected end to their relationship.
“I know many of you have seen the news about Jon and me. I wanted to acknowledge it here beyond the joint statement we put out. This has been a very difficult and deeply personal time for our family. While so much of our life is shared online, there are parts of it that I’ll always choose to keep private, especially something as difficult as this,” Summer, 37, wrote on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, July 7. “I’m so grateful for the kindness, prayers and support so many of you have already shown us. It truly means more than you know.”

“I will continue showing up on here and sharing links and parts of my life with you, like I always have. This space is part of my work, but it’s also a place that brings me joy, connecting with so many of you. Again, thank you for all of the love and support for our family,” she continued.
Jon and Summer Pardi tied the knot in 2020 and announced their split in July 2026.
“After much thought, we have made the difficult decision to end our marriage. Our daughters will always remain our highest priority and we are committed to moving forward with love and respect as co-parents,” the former couple said in a joint statement posted to Instagram on July 3.
According to court documents obtained by People magazine, Summer filed for divorce from Jon in Tennessee in May. She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. Jon and Summer are parents of two daughters, Presley, 3, and Sienna, 2.
