Created by Rian Johnson, Poker Face took audiences by storm with its first season, blending Columbo-style case-of-the-week storytelling with a modern road trip twist. Lyonne’s performance as the scrappy, endlessly curious Charlie was a major highlight (nabbing her an Emmy nomination), as she traveled across America encountering peculiar crimes and eccentric criminals.
While the details of Poker Face Season 2 remain tightly under wraps, fans can expect another set of twisted mysteries, unexpected twists, and an ever-growing rogues’ gallery of guest stars. The first season boasted an impressive lineup that included Adrien Brody, Stephanie Hsu, Tim Meadows, and Judith Light, among others.
