Halsey was forced to cancel her scheduled performance at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor on the day of the show due to sudden vocal issues.

On June 4, 2025, the pop star’s announcement came just hours before the concert, leaving fans disappointed but understanding of the artist’s health condition.

In a heartfelt post, the Without Me singer explained, “I woke up this morning and my voice was just… gone. I saw my doctor and they said singing tonight could cause injury if I don’t let my vocal cords rest. So — we have to cancel tonight’s show in Bangor. I’m devastated.”

She further emphasized the importance of vocal health, writing, “Not being able to sing is the only thing that would keep me off of a stage. I would try to push through anything else, but this is one situation I can’t,” before also reassuring fans about the future of the tour: “With time to rest, I should be able to continue the tour. Canceling tonight is the only way to make sure that happens.”

“Thank you for always giving me grace when I need it. I love you all so much,” the songstress concluded with gratitude.

This cancellation is part of Halsey’s For My Last Trick: The Tour, which kicked off on May 10 and is set to conclude on July 6, 2025. The tour supports her fifth studio album, The Great Impersonator, and features various supporting acts across North America.

Fans have shown an outpouring of support on social media, wishing the “You Should Be Sad” artist a swift recovery. At the time of writing, there had been no official statement regarding the rescheduling of the Bangor show.
