It’s always an exciting time whenever a fan-favorite chip flavor returns years after being discontinued. Such is especially the case for a flavor as singularly unique as Pringles’ Spicy Guacamole. A decadent blend of creamy avocado, spicy jalapeño and countless Mexican-inspired seasonings, it’s the ultimate savory treat to rein in the heat of summer, as well as one ordinary consumers couldn’t be happier about.

Originally launched in 2007, Spicy Guacamole quickly acquired a cult following for its bold and vivid flavor profile. Weaving in and out of popularity for the next eight years, the product eventually made a comeback in 2015, before eventually being discontinued from Pringles’ production line-up in 2018.

Fortunately, after years of fan outcry calling for the flavor’s return, Pringles’ Spicy Guacamole containers are officially back in stores, serving as a dream come true for consumers heartbroken by the product’s disappearance almost a decade ago.

As one might expect from the product’s description, Pringles’ Spicy Guacamole boasts plenty of unique flavors in each and every one of its chips — a characteristic favorably noted by many popular food reviewers.

Priced at an average mark-up of $2.69 per container, Pringles’ Spicy Guacamole chips are currently available at such major grocery chains as Food Lion, Stop & Shop, Meijer, and Giant Food. While it’s not currently known whether the product is available for a limited time, Pringles’ flavors can ebb and flow in popularity, making the chance of their random removal from store shelves somewhat uncertain.

The flavor’s return comes after the famed chip company turned heads with their recent collaboration with Bud Lite. As part of their partnership with the iconic beer company, Pringles released three new bold flavors in the form of Beer-Braised Steak, Beer Can Chicken and Grilled Beer Brat. Additionally, another fan-favorite flavor, 7-Layer Dip, made its long-awaited return to stores as well.
