Toronto’s beloved Geary Art Crawl is coming back to the popular neighbourhood this March, featuring two days of art, music and shopping. However, this year will be a little different. Here’s what to know.
When is the Geary Art Crawl festival?
The Geary Art Crawl will take place March 7 and 8, 2026. It’s funded in part by the City of Toronto and the Province of Ontario, and it’s presented and produced by Uma Nota Culture.
Since its beginning, the experience has been more than just a festival. “It’s been a cozy, colourful celebration of community, creativity and neighbourly joy,” share organizers. “What started as a humble local art walk has grown into a beloved two-day gathering that brings Geary Avenue alive with art, music and shared smiles.”
So expect all the best that Geary has to offer, like free artist-run workshops, delicious eats and drinks, crafts, comics, and much more. But there won’t be a road closure this year.
“That just means the heart of Geary keeps beating with its vibrant, everyday life, with art and community sprinkled all throughout. This crawl is about connection, not barriers,” adds organizers.
Considering there are still a few weeks left until the event, organizers are planning an open call for vendors wanting to take part in the festivities soon.
Keep an eye on their socials for workshop lineups, schedules and pop-up details. For volunteering opportunities, organizers ask those interested to fill out their online form. “Let’s greet spring together! With art, warmth, and the friendly energy that makes Geary, Geary.”
