President-elect Trump arrives in DC ahead of rally at Capital One Arena

WASHINGTON – President-elect Donald Trump has arrived in Washington, D.C. ahead of his planned ‘Victory Rally’ at Capital One Arena. 

Trump will be sworn in as the 47th president of the United States on Monday.

What time is the “victory rally”?

Doors opened for his rally at 11 a.m. Sunday and the event is set to kick off at 4 p.m. 

The “victory rally” is scheduled for the day before Monday, January 20, Inauguration Day, which is also Martin Luther King Jr. Day. 

Occasionally, Martin Luther King Jr. Day falls on Inauguration Day. However, the two dates are not directly related.

When is Trump’s inauguration?

Nearly a quarter million ticketed guests are expected to attend Donald Trump’s second inauguration on Monday, January 20, 2025, in the nation’s capital.

On Monday, the ceremony will take place on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol. Security screening gates are expected to open at 5 a.m. Ticketed guests should arrive by 11:30 a.m.
