Prince Harry and Meghan Markle enjoyed a date night at Beyonce’s concert on May 9. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex danced the night away together, and Meghan shared some pictures and videos from the show.
“About last night…. Thank you @beyonce and team for an amazing concert (and a very fun date night)! All love,” she captioned an Instagram post.
In one of the photos, Markle included a shot of her husband’s Kemosabe cowboy hat.
“My husband’s hat gets a twirl,” read a caption posted over the photo. On the inside brim of the hat were a few very special messages.
On one side, there is the United States flag and the British flag, showing Harry’s past and present — the two countries that he’s called home over the course of his life. Toward the top of the hat is an outline of the continent of Africa — a place that is very special to Harry (and that was very special to his mother, Princess Diana, too). Moving to the other side is the flag of California, symbolizing Harry’s new home after he stepped down as a senior member of the royal family in 2020.
Then, in larger letters are the names of those most important to him. “Archie, Lili, my love,” each stacked on top of the next.
