Oktoberfest 2024 is coming up at the end of the month, and there are tons of ways to celebrate in and around Vancouver. So we’ve pulled together a list of the biggest festivities and most decadent special menus to check out, so get your steins ready! Here are the biggest Oktoberfest celebrations coming to Metro Vancouver.

Harvest Haus

Harvest Haus is back at the PNE this year with tons of specialty German fare, including schnitzel, roast chicken, and a wide range of German, Czech, and Belgian brews. Whether you’re impartial to an old-fashioned pilsner or more of a radler person, there’s a beer (and a seat) for everyone at Harvest Haus.

Note that table reservation tickets include a souvenir beer stein.

A Funky Oktoberfest 

House of Funk Brewing is celebrating the season with a long table, family-style, three-course dinner accompanied by their fan-fave House of Lager beer collabs, Festbier and Marzen.

When: Saturday, September 21st

Oktoberfest at Austria Vancouver Club 

Ready for a semi-formal celebration? The Austria Vancouver Club is celebrating Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 28th and October 5th with live music by Al Pichler and an authentic Oktoberfest-inspired meal.

When: Saturday, September 28th and Saturday, October 5th
Where: 5851 Westminster Highway, Richmond
Cost: $40 for members, $45 for non-members

Oktoberfest Country Edition at Boots N Beats 

Starting at 9 pm on Friday, October 11th, Abbotsford’s Townhall is transforming for a free-to-enter Oktoberfest celebration with a country twist. Here, visitors can don their best cowboy getups and dance the night away.

Oktoberfest at Trading Post Brewing

The Langley Tasting Room at Trading Post Brewing has all the authentic treats you’re craving starting Friday, September 20th, with subsequent celebrations on Friday, September 27th and Friday, October 4th. Take part in a pretzel toss, enjoy live accordion music, and of course, feast on a German Platter.

Small tables with one German Platter (feeds 2-3 people) are priced at $55 each, a medium table with two German Platters (feeds 3-5 people) costs $110, and a large table with three German Platters (feeds 5 to 8 people) is $160.

Oktoberfest at Brewhall

Get ready for authentic German beer at Oktoberfest at Brewhall, including their award-winning Köl Story Bro Kölsch and Oktoberfest Amber Ale. As well, visitors can enjoy schnitzel, currywurst, sausage, and soft-baked pretzels until October 2nd.
