Pullman Hotels & Resorts has introduced a unique concept room named ‘The Transforming Room’. The room, designed in Pullman Singapore Orchard, is a high-tech, multifunctional space tailored to meet the evolving needs of modern travelers. The Transforming Room is a pioneering model for the future design of Pullman hotels, aiming to create flexible environments that cater to guests’ dynamic needs.

The Transforming Room is equipped with advanced technology and digital enhancements, allowing guests to modify their surroundings with the touch of a button. The room transitions seamlessly to accommodate guests as they shift between work, wellness, socializing or relaxation. This concept room represents Pullman’s approach to embracing the fluidity of contemporary lifestyles and creating adaptive and enriching guest experiences.

Upon arrival, guests scan a QR code to access the room’s multi-sensory design controls. Features of The Transforming Room include a multipurpose workspace, LG innovative display technology, space-saving toilet technology, a Murphy bed that transitions the room to various multifunctional spaces, a COMPOZ perfume module to create a preferred scent playlist, and multiple workout modes and virtual training programs.

The Transforming Room also provides a restorative sleep experience through blackout curtains, a custom-designed Murphy bed, and a series of scents to induce sleep. Mornings offer a personalised wake-up experience, with curtains that slide open to fill the room with natural daylight and scents that can be adjusted to suit various moods or activities throughout the day.

A prototype app for The Transforming Room provides a variety of fitness and mindfulness sessions by PELOTON and Digital Art by ARTPOINT. The modular interiors shift to create extra space for wellness routines and workouts. The app also allows for a unique in-room dining experience, transforming the room into an intimate private dining space.

The introduction of The Transforming Room reaffirms Pullman’s legacy as an innovative player in the hospitality industry. Pullman continues to merge business and lifestyle needs as one of the oldest hospitality brands, creating spaces catering to different purposes and perspectives.
