Radisson Collection has launched its first hotel in Hungary, located near St. Stephen’s Basilica in Budapest. The Radisson Collection Hotel, Basilica Budapest, is situated in a restored neoclassical building, previously a school, and features 71 rooms and suites. The hotel is positioned 50 meters from the basilica, with many rooms offering views of the landmark.
The hotel offers amenities such as a boutique fitness area and two private boardrooms that can be combined for larger meetings. Dining options include the Collection Café & Lounge, which serves barista coffee and pastries, and The Arc, an all-day bistro offering international dishes. The ISSEI Skybar & Restaurant, located on the rooftop, serves Japanese-Peruvian Nikkei cuisine.
The hotel’s location offers guests access to Budapest’s cultural and historical sites, including the Buda Castle District and the Jewish Quarter. The city hosts various events throughout the year, including the Sziget Festival and the Budapest Art Market, which attract both local and international visitors.
