Vanderpump will open the hotel in partnership with Caesars Entertainment; this will be her fourth Las Vegas collaboration with the group following the development of restaurants and bars including Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesars Palace, Vanderpump à Paris at Paris Las Vegas, and Pinky’s by Vanderpump at Flamingo Las Vegas. In addition to her Vegas outposts, Vanderpump is also behind Wolf by Vanderpump at Harveys Lake Tahoe, along with Sur Restaurant and Lounge and TomTom in West Hollywood. The Vanderpump Hotel will be her first-ever hotel project. The Cromwell will remain open as it flips into the Vanderpump Hotel, along with its on-property restaurant Giada, operated by Food Network’s Giada De Laurentiis.
Vanderpump will lead the overhaul of the hotel with her design company Vanderpump Alain and business partner Nick Alain, redoing the reception area, front desk, and all 188 guest rooms with bespoke lighting and furniture. Vanderpump and Alain will also design a new lounge on the property. A statement from Caesars Entertainment says there will be an emphasis on “sexy elegance and comfort.” If Vanderpump’s past projects are any indication of the look of the new space, expect plenty of ornate glass chandeliers and an aesthetic that falls somewhere between Victorian and rustic.
“We’ve had a phenomenal partnership with Lisa, developing three very successful restaurants in Las Vegas,” says Sean McBurney, the regional president of Caesars Entertainment in a statement. “Now we get to take Lisa’s vision and expertise to the next level — infusing her talent and creativity into an entire hotel at the most incredible location on the Las Vegas Strip.”
While it doesn’t seem like Vanderpump has any new Los Angeles restaurants on the horizon, former Vanderpump Rules cast members Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney opened their long-awaited West Hollywood sandwich shop Something About Her in May 2024. Madix and Maloney’s respective exes, Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz, also recently closed their short-lived lounge Schwartz & Sandy’s in December 2024.
