Recently renovated, the resort is spread over five acres of near-beachfront land and has 45 guest rooms and two restaurants.

One of lower Central Coast’s most recognisable resorts, Seaside Garden Retreat in Wamberal, has been listed for sale.

Colliers’ Steam Leung in conjunction with CBRE’s Raymond Tran, have been exclusively appointed to steer the sale via an Expressions of Interest campaign. The asset is being offered for sale with the benefit of vacant possession providing an incoming purchaser with significant operational flexibility.

Recently renovated, the resort is spread over five acres of near-beachfront land and has 45 guest rooms and two restaurants. The property, located at 871 The Entrance Road, includes a range of leisure facilities including tennis courts, swimming pool, games room and is within walking distance of Wamberal Beach.

Colliers’ National Director Steam Leung said, “The resort has expansive and versatile amenities and existing infrastructure. With its location within walking distance to some of Central Coast’s most picturesque beaches, it will give buyers the unique opportunity to reposition the property as either a mid-scale resort, retirement lifestyle living, or any number of development opportunities with its Environmental Living zoning.”

The property is located between Terrigal and The Entrance townships and provides easy access to Gosford city and the Newcastle City catchment which includes Williamstown Airport servicing domestic connections.

The resort features a range of food and beverage facilities, conference and meeting rooms, and event spaces including a wedding gazebo situated within serene, manicured gardens with ponds, bridges and walking paths.

CBRE Hotels Director Raymond Tran said, “A big drawcard for this property is its location – just over one hour’s drive from Sydney and close to neighbouring townships The Entrance and Terrigal, it’s perfectly situated for many kinds of holidaymakers.

“We’ve seen domestic visitor travel to the Central Coast area record an 11.2% increase. The resilience in the drive and caravanning markets will continue to underpin the regional markets. In addition, we’re yet to see the full return of FIT (free independent travellers) and group series inbound intrastate travellers into the market, so there is a lot of optimism in the market for investments like this.”

The Expressions of Interest campaign closes on Wednesday, 06 November 2024 (unless sold prior).
