Red Sea Global has announced the opening of AMAALA Triple Bay, a new development on Saudi Arabia’s north-western coast, featuring six resorts and a yacht club.

Red Sea Global is set to open AMAALA Triple Bay, a new coastal development located on Saudi Arabia’s north-western coast, in the coming months. The project will initially include six resorts, a yacht club, a marine life institute, a marina, and a Marina Village. The development also features a 5-kilometer linear park, known as the Wellness Route, which connects the resorts and amenities.

The first phase of AMAALA will debut with several resorts, including the Equinox Resort and Residences, which will offer 128 guest rooms, suites, and penthouses, as well as 21 branded residences. The resort will focus on health and recovery services, featuring a magnesium vitality pool, a spa grotto, hyperbaric chambers, and an Equinox Fitness Club.

The Four Seasons Resort and Residences at Triple Bay will offer 202 rooms and 25 residences, complemented by six dining options and a Kids For All Seasons program. Nammos Resort and Residences will feature 110 rooms and 20 apartments, along with various dining options, including the Ilios Bar and Nammos Restaurant.

Rosewood Resort will offer 110 guest rooms and suites, as well as 26 private residences, all divided into zones catering to families, couples, and wellness enthusiasts. The resort will feature the Asaya Spa, offering a range of treatments and wellness activities. Six Senses AMAALA will feature 100 pool suites and villas, along with 25 branded residences, and a 3,000-square-meter spa that focuses on wellness programs.

The AMAALA Yacht Club aims to become a premier yachting destination, hosting events such as the 2027 Grand Finale of The Ocean Race. The club will also feature a sailing academy.

Additional attractions include Corallium, a marine exhibit, and the AMAALA Hotel, located at the Staff Village, offering 144 rooms and various dining options.

The development is part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to create 50,000 jobs and contribute SAR 11 billion (approximately USD 3 billion) to the country’s GDP. Red Sea Global has invested SAR 51.04 billion into the first phase, which will ultimately include nine resorts with over 1,600 keys. The remaining resorts in Phase One are Clinique La Prairie Health Resort, Jayasom Wellness Resort, and The Ritz-Carlton Resort.

AMAALA is designed to support regenerative tourism, aiming for a 30% net conservation benefit by 2040. The project will be powered entirely by renewable energy, resulting in an annual reduction of 350,000 tCO2eq in carbon emissions. The destination is expected to accommodate up to 500,000 visitors per year.

Access to AMAALA is facilitated through Red Sea International Airport, with direct flights available from Doha, Dubai, Jeddah, and Riyadh. A European route is expected soon. AlWajh Airport is scheduled to reopen in 2026 following renovations aimed at enhancing connectivity.
